Local Driver Jobs

Golden Companies, an established, woman-owned since 1904, 5th generation family owned Moving and Storage company with local/national/international reach is seeking qualified Drivers at our Longmont, CO facility. The individual selected as a Driver will be responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles, have knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations and DOT regulations as they pertain to inspections, driving, hours of operation, safety and paperwork. They also will direct and perform loading and unloading of vehicle.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Clean driving record
  • Frequently lift and/or carry objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds, and have the ability to reach, bend and twist to load and unload boxes and furniture
  • Able to work in varying climates, indoors and outdoors; work sites may be dusty or dirty
  • Committed to satisfy the customer on every move and handle stressful circumstances
  • Ability to work under tight timetables, and understand and execute safety precautions
  • Ability to deal with customers under stressful circumstances
  • Knowledge of state, federal and DOT regulations
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Class A CDL a plus!

Helper Jobs

Golden Companies, an established, woman-owned since 1904, 5th generation family owned Moving and Storage company with local/national/international reach is seeking qualified Helpers at our Longmont, CO facility. Under general supervision of the appointed lead employee, the Helper may assist with the loading and unloading of vehicle, packing and unpacking of customer goods, and installation and movement of office furniture.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience helpful but not needed to start
  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds, and ability to reach, bend and twist to load and unload boxes and furniture
  • Must be able to work in varying climates, indoors and outdoors; work site may be dusty and dirty
  • Committed to satisfy the customer on every move and handle stressful circumstances
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Previous packing and loading experience a plus!

Installer Jobs

Golden Companies, an established, woman-owned since 1904, 5th generation family owned Moving and Storage company with local/national/international reach is seeking qualified Installers at our Longmont, CO facility. The Installer will assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, packing and unpacking of customer goods, and installation and movement of office furniture. They also will ensure the proper handling equipment is loaded in truck and put away when jobs are completed.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of office furniture (panel systems) installation
  • Ability to lift objects in excess of 100 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects
  • Required to bend and twist to load boxes, furniture or equipment from vehicle
  • Ability to work in varying climates, outdoors and indoors; worksites may be dusty or dirty
  • Required to work under tight timetable, and understand and execute safety precautions
